Winter Conditioning Class ‘25
Prepare your body for the pow with an 8-week long in-person strength and conditioning class. Each week we will work up a sweat and build the strength and stamina needed to hit the slopes with confidence on opening day! Total cost is less than $30 per class. Weekly group fitness classes on Thursdays starting October 2nd, ending November 20th
Each class is 60-75 minutes in length
Workouts are designed specifically to build the strength and endurance in the key muscles for skiing and snowboarding while also challenging your cardio endurance
Dr. Kelsey will supervise each class, providing modifications as needed
Classes will be held at Fortitude Fitness in Buena Vista, CO

Meet Your Instructor
Dr. Kelsey is a doctor of physical therapy, specializing in pelvic floor physical therapy and sports performance. She is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and holds a CrossFit level 1 certification. One of her biggest passions as a medical provider and coach is to empower people with the benefits of resistance training: Stronger bones; stronger muscles; stronger self-esteem. Dr. Kelsey has >10 years of experience with barbell sports and she actively completes in powerlifting.

This 8-week training plan includes 2 workouts per week with options for gym equipment or training at home. The training plan will be delivered to you through a training app (TrainHeroic) complete with videos and a direct messaging
feature for you to communicate with your coach. All workouts include movement modifications so you can find the best challenge for your body!
These workouts are designed to specifically target the muscles you use when skinning up the mountain and when you’re making your turns on the way down. You’ll work up a sweat as you build your cardio stamina while hitting targeted strength so your first winter outing doesn’t leave you feeing out of shape.
